The Project Coordinator is Dr. Enrique Montiel. He holds a PhD in Materials Eng., was graduated in Chemical Engineering at the University of Valencia in 1987 and obtained a master degree in Materials Engineering. At present, he is Assistant Director of the Spanish Footwear Technology Institute and he is Professor in the Materials Science Department at the University Miguel Hernandez in Elche. He has carried out additional studies on innovation management and transnational projects. His work at INESCOP is participating as promoter and coordinator of projects about technology development, innovation management, technology transfer and quality, for the footwear sector at a national and international level. Responsible for many national and international RTD and technology transfer projects for the footwear and leather industry in the field of CAD/CAM, materials, footcare, health related issues, information technologies, environment, production, etc.

The Technical Manager is Mr. Rafael Hernández, INESCOP. He has a degree in General Medicine and Surgery. He is responsible for the internal coordination of a large number of national and European research projects where INESCOP is involved, as leader or partner, related to medical approaches or medical applications of shoes and their components: DiaSoft, SensaSole, CEC-Made-Shoe, SSHOES, FIT4U, etc. Mr. Hernández participates directly as researcher in several collaborative projects and internal initiatives dealing with topics such as: electronic devices for footwear, mobile measuring instruments for footwear, health topics and footwear and biomedical software regarding foot plant pressure visualization and analysis.

The Exploitation Manager is Mr. Paul Lawless, S_INSOLES. He is Managing Director of S-INSOLES. Mr. Lawless has an important track record of RTD activities that connect research with market applications. He managed the process that led to the creation of the company as spin-off from the Salford University, within the Knowledge Transfer Partnership, part of the UK flagship scheme to transfer knowledge from academia to business. Mr. Lawless has also closely followed the RTD and managerial steps that connected a research work lead by academics and orthopaedic professionals with the development of a new technology for special insoles and its subsequent commercialization (Lateral Wedge Technology to treat knee arthritis).
